Hi ppl I am new to using mutt, actually never used it b4, used to use pine, now want to try mutt. Can anyone tell me how do I use imap accounts for configuration on mutt?

Look in section 1...for IMAP options. Or, just http://www.google.co.in/search?q=muttrc&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&...
You'll find good muttrcs from Suresh Rams, Sven Guckes, Tim Gilbert....look around.
