I tried to install RHEL 4 on IBM Thinkpad R40e, but system hangs after probing devices and
before starting the installation. I also tried RH 9 but it also hangs before starting
installation. Same thing happened with Suse 10. I was successful in installing Mandrake
9.1 but the keyboard doesn't work. Please help me in installing RHEL 4 on laptop.

You will be able to Install OpenLX Linux on it without any pain. Its
at www.openlx.com and the latest version Desktop Edge 1.0 has all the updated drivers.
