Dear Linuxers,

Due to my constant fooling arnd with GRUB and LILO and the MBR, i now face a problem.

I cannot boot into WINDOWS:

When I booted my machine I got two options DOS and Linux, when i select Linux it boots fine, when i select DOS i get an error

Disk write error Pls press any key to reboot

These are the things that I tried :

1. I erased the MBR and then did a lilo -v in rescue mode. No luck although.

2. Tried installing grub instead of lilo

grub-install /dev/hda

No luck

3. I erased the MBR and then re-installed WINDOWS in the same folder C:\WINNT

I'am using windows2k professional.

Could somebody suggest a remedy.....!
