WGA (windows Genuine Advantage) in Vista checks your drive for pirated stuff of ALL copies of windows and reports back to the mothership. If u have any M$ stuff illegally obtained - in this case even legally obtained - it will prevent access of the new and old software.
I love M$. I adore BG. XP is good. Vista is great. Hope they release it today. $-E
