Well the aliens might want to show up finally. So lets be ready. Maybe we can really wrangle out Linux-9.0 running on a subetna. Besides a ccd beats peering into an eyepiece and getting a crick in the neck. However u need some fancy cooling to get the ccd to low noise levels. The ccd camera i use has a Sony chip with "accumulate" capability which gives astounding results in low light conditions -hence curious to se how it fares on a telescope.
Hey there...:D

Hello,
I think lonavala would be cool. The weather is good there, only problem we have to find some place with a pool there. There is this place called bee gees and kamth's club. I guess we could contact them.
Or we could just go back to the same place we went last time, have we contacted the Pune LUG to join up with us?

Yep, i had requested guntu to have to same co-ordinated since guntu is from the plug. Lemme do an official post there right now.

Where we went last time dear is a few light years from where the pluggers are. Lonavla would be a better bet for them.
Any good ideas for the lonalva trip. Sign up soon pls.
Trevor

If we are going to Lonavala, perhaps we can invite the PLUG folks also?

Think thats a great idea...Infact why only the plug....we can send invite's to any other GLUG's around.
Karunakar has some good links there....it would be great if you/guntu can take up the mantle on this front please. Very importantly do emphasise that the whole crux of the event if "Just For Fun" and we invite speakers on any FLOSS related topic.
Hard Busa is the co-ordinatore from our side.
