Hi all !!
i tried network in linux-to-linux computers as well as linux-to-windows computers.
The problem, which i am facing is, when i installed samba protocol, i am able to access windows computer from linux computer(all files and folders available on windows computer), but from windows computer, i can get only hardware level connectivity, i.e. only ping is working, i am getting a reply for ping. But neither i can see linux computer in network neighbourhood nor from run utility, it is only one way connection.
When i tried networking in linux-to-linux computer. To do that, i have done following steps..
1.Install network in both linux computers.
2.Checked hardware level connectivity.
3. share directory from linux computer, from /etc/exports file & start demon services again.
But when i tried to acces shared directory from another linux computer using mount command, i get the message permission denied, when i have given full control to any user for the workgroup.
Pls. help me on this matter.
