Thanks.
Look at: http://www.linux.com/feature/118497
Thanks for posting that link. Yes, I came across that once when I was looking for some definite resource for linux compatible hardware.
I would really like tuxcompatible.com (or any site with the same intention, really) to be the place one would go with the intention of *buying* the hardware/device/service ...etc, not only researching it's compatibility.
To that end, i can imagine a possibility working with various web sites dedicated to listing or discussing compatibility and performance of hardware (for example, pciids.sourceforge.net, linux-printing.org, phoronix.com, linux-wireless.org, thinkwiki.org ...etc) and somehow integrate references to these in the the listings on tuxcompatible.com. Unfortunately, I know jack about the technologies involved to make this happen.
So, yeah, I could use some help :-).
Thanks for the comment, it make me feel less stupid for having done this :-).
Btw, I could always use more help in letting people know about this site, since it'll work only if it has enough people using it. So, please spread the word around.
Thanks and regards, - steve

One of the best ways to advertise something to others is via a signature at the bottom of the email. Will spread the word about tuxcompatible.com and thank you, Steve for the effort. i believe there are some more hardware compatibility for linux websites but it was good to know about some of the ones you had mentioned.
