FYI. I think it does roll over. My server was showing 3GB 2 days ago and now its just 300MB and is not being rebooted.

Not sure. My eth0 device shows 1.4GB received, and 11MB transmitted. If it does roll over, it doesn't seem to have done so yet. Uptime is 3 days (since I moved my machine to a new location).

Well, I'd like to check it too, if only I could get the power to stay on for more than 6 hours. Have had the machine rebooting on power outs constantly today. Apparently I'm on the only section in the company that's not on UPS.
four reiserfs and one ro ext2 partition handle it well. It's the ext2 root, usr and usr local partitions that suffer the most.
