Why wont kmail fetch that email? Any ideas? Also, is my email looking ok? I am wrapping the lines at 78. Should I change it?

Most MUA use UIDLs to determine which messages to download. I am hypothesising: The UIDL of the message to yourself, sent by KMail to your GMail mbox, matches the UIDLs in KMail db and therefore does not download it.

As a test case, use fetchmail to poll your GMail inbox and see if your message is pulled. Let KMail poll /var/spool/mail/<localuserid>.
