Hi,
I forgot to mention, which IMAP server is best for virtual hosting with qmail? I would prefer a one that is more difficult to configure rather than a one which has few security bugs. Thanks.
Bye.

Cyrus/Courier IMAP.
Both do virtual hosting. Courier uses Maildir, Cyrus uses its own format (like an indexed maildir). Cyrus accepts mail via LMTP, and filters via Sieve. Postfix talks LMTP and can deliver to Mailbox as well.
I personally find postfix easier to configure, and easier to config means less bugs in the configuration (One file is nice and easy to use, rather than load of little files). Plus, the documentation rocks, the author is supportive, and the mailing list is polite.

Why is this spam? And why should you be excused for it being spam?

man smbclient for sending pop-ups to Windows systems. man talk for Linux to Linux/Unix messaging. I'm not aware of any utilities that cause pop-ups in Linux but you may try Googlizing.

What does this have to do with IMAP server with virtual hosting? Learn to put a relevant subject line.
You're looking for samba.

I would like to have mail service for my customers who will be hosting sites at my server. I want to provide IMAP, POP and SMTP. So the needs are SMTP (with authentication support - also Maildir support), POP which has Maildir support, and IMAP that can identify virtual host user amish {at} munshi.dyndns.org and amish {at} joshi.dyndns.org as seperate users.

Courier. Courier. Courier. Postfix (AUTH supported by author). Qmail (AUTH unsupported by author). Courier-MTA.
