Can anybody suggest a good Palm preferebly running on linux. Allowing me to connect to net via dialup / network / cell and do some shell / perl / python programming. Where can I buy it in Mumbai ... even online will do ...

Not a Palm, but the Sharp Zaurus SL 5500 and 5600 work like a charm....
