Any one configured IPSec. Now I am using redhat 7.2 with kernel 2.4.7-10. How can I configure IPSec in my system. which option I will enable in my kernal source?. What are the configuration files for ipsec?. Using this how can i create encrypted tunnels(vpns)? Can any one help me regarding this.

Even I've been trying to get it to work.
But the starting steps ( perhaps, just one of many possible ) are:
1] Get Free/SWAN ( freeswan.org ) 2] Configure/compile ( it patches the kernel if you compile it, but, iirc, it has binaries for RH specific kernels, as modules ) 3] Configure the ipsec.conf files ( this is where I am stuck ).
4] Teel us if you move till/ahead of this point! ;-)

or just use the unstable 2.5 kernel and help test it

Any pointers on how to do it in 2.5? Of course, beyond the normal 'enablings' in the kernel? I'm running 2.5.65
