and compiled installed the same on the system.

I have added

# Replaced with r8168 --Dinesh Shah blacklist r8169

in file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

Still the r8169 module is loaded after reboot.

I am not able to find using google any other way to disable the module loading at boot.

Any pointers? TIA WIth regards,
