And yes, Macs cost a lot more than a cheap PC. But if you are looking at a branded higher end laptop, then the cost is equivalent.
Imo the internal engineering is magnificent (heretics call it over engineered), and an equally engineered intel box would hypothetically cost twice as much as an Imac.
Why travel in a luxury bus when your car or bike suffices? It may be super engineered by factor of 2 for 1.25 times the price, but the question is does he need that much? right now? Why carry a water tanker when all you need is a water bottle?
