Hello Friends,
I use Red Hat Linux 9.
I have 3 CDs of a certain application for linux. All the CDs contain only one file with the extension ..cpio.gz
I unzipped it using gzip but how to extract files from .cpio format. I read the man page for CPIO but could not understand it.
Each compressed file on CD is about 640 MB in cpio format.
Please Help.
Thanks in advance,
Suhas
