I wanted to know how to set up word-wrapping in Emacs. I went to the top level customization group -> Editing -> Fill and set a few options, but there seems to be no difference. Also, will the word wrapping work if I go back and press a few backspaces?
Is there a way to justify-align my text documents? Like the man pages that come fully-filled to 80 columns (padded with spaces)?

Try pressing "Esc - q" over the lengthy paragraph that you want to wrap. If you do manage to make changes, then press "Esc-q" somewhere inside that paragraph again.
