I have installed FC5 on my PC in standard form. Now If I want to to add more software from Installation CDs whenever I use Add/ Remove Software it always check for Internet Connection And If its there then only it allow me to add new software. There is any way using which without internet connection also I can use this feature.

FC5 uses programmes called Pirut and Pup for installing and updating software which use yum at the back end and the software packages are downloaded from the repositories defined in the yum configuration files. So you have to be connected to the internet if you want to install software through these programs. Alternatively you can to either first download the RPMs and install the packages using the rpm command or simply install them from a CD using rpm command. If you have the FC5 DVD, you can also configure yum to use the DVD as a repository so instead of connecting to the net, it will install the software from the DVD
