Hi Linuxers,
Running Mandrake Linux 9.1 (kernel 2.4.21) out here. I copied couple of files (excel) from a floppy to my home dir. 2/3 hours later, i noticed that the floppy LED is constantly on and the drive is being continously accessed. So, i did ctrl+alt+f12 to see the kernel(?) messages and i found this:-

To stop the floppy drive access, i put back in the same floppy, ran ls and then took it out. After that, my floppy drive's LED is repeatedly blinking on & off, even as i write this mail. On checking the messages again, i got this:-

Last I saw UDF support for the Linux kernel was experimental and unstable.
