Blooper - Common CPU :))
Hi I think the LTSP solution holds true if I have a spare monitor/mouse and keyboard Apparently I have only the CPU and no spare peripherals.
Get a Video switch with mouse and keyboard inputs. (So Common Monitor,Keyb and Mouse and the Display port of each CPU is conn to the switch) Gishu

New subject: Spare computer without HDD
Hi
My query is real. I want to make use of the spare pc lying idle.It could be anything useful I had connected one of the HDD to it but as the pc is old and does not support booting from Cd it would have been a exercise to remove the HDD connect it to the new pc load a distro and reconnect to th old one.
I have an old 1.2 gb HDD in my friends house. If it is working I can even use that
