Dear Mr. Joshi,
What are you trying to demonstrate by compiling such questions; it seems you dont like Newbies though you was also a Newbie once upon a time. Such attitude may give bad impression to the students and users who are new to GNU/linux or planning to migrate from other technology to Free Software. GLUGs mailing list is formed with the aim to promote GNU/Linux and to help Newbies but not to make fun of Newbies.
Now I have 10 compiled lessons for you
1. You dont seem to be a true GNU/Linux Professional, 2. You are highly inspired by Proprietary companies like M$ etc. 3. You must be very selfish. (you forgot you was also a Newbie) 4. GLUG bombay was started with couple of member today it has near about 1000 members (Its all because of Newbies not because of you) 5. Do you think you are a technology master? (You are a peanuts comparing to Newbies, they just need a platform which for you a topic of fun) 6. You are a shame for your teachers, they never made joke for your questions whenever you asked. 7. GLUG list doesnt require people like you, who believe in criticize rather helping. (Seriously tell me how many newbies you helped till today, who was the fool asked a question to a fool) 8. Next time dont try to show your intelligence on GLUG. Find some other place to perform such important task. 9. Newbies are the future of GNU/Linux and GLUG list so dont so dont mess with them. 10. You should say sorry to all Newbies who are members with GLUG list for your abusing mail.

I think making fun of the Newbie was one of the unstated goals. That is why I made fun of myself when I first joined.
If you feel hurt, go someplace and stop feeling hurt. Then grow up a bit. Then when you feel mature 'nuff to start to wanna talk about GNU/Linux, come here. You'll be welcome.

Thanks for your valuable comment I will defiantly take in to deliberation.
What wrong if I am telling people not to make fun of newbies. Do you think newbie will join GLUG list if they will get such welcome.
This is not a fun place, this is a place to share and explore knowledge

Welcome.

People will join this list if they want to know about GNU/Linux and share some time with people of similar tastes /regardless of other things/.
This is not a fun place, this is a place to share and explore knowledge
This *is* (at least supposedly but not anymore I guess) a fun place. What is knowledge which you cannot enjoy ? For serious academic study, meditation, retrospection and sleep, there are class rooms.
The community shares and explores more when fun is a key ingredient.
Which explains why we have a "grouchy old man" for an admin and we share and explore so much.
