I am trying to do LDAP replication across some 10-20 machines.

I have been half way successful in the same. That is, if I add a new record to the Master, it gets replicated instantaneously across the slaves. What I need to figure out is the other way round - When I add a new record to the slave, how does the Master know abt it (which would then send the record to the other slaves). I am using OpenLDAP-2.0.21, on RedHat 7.2, kernel 2.4.7.

Any pointers?
