For those from Windows background, are /usually/ not aware of IRC, apart from theoretical knowledge, the following URL points to an article, that tells you how to get going.

I hope, we can expect a few new members on channels, mentioned in the wiki. (This also tells me, a newbie guide to IRC is missing in the wiki). :)
