I am unable to play midi file on Fedora core 1. The error messages showing /dev/sequencer is busy. fuser and lsof is showing nothing.

Just not enough information given. Which soundcard do you have, which modules.conf settings for ALSA, all modules loaded? Any messages from syslog in /var/log/messages?

I don't know about what i am using ALSA or OSS. There is no message in syslog. Which modules i need to load in order to play midi file? And what does fedora core 1 use alsa for oss?
