Announcing the International Challenge for Eclipse (ICE), a plug-in contest open to students and developers worldwide. Sponsored by eclipse.org member companies, ICE is the first contest that promotes and awards the development of Eclipse-based plug-ins that can be used for teaching, research or community-building.
ICE consists of two categories of entries: Students and Open. To participate in the Student category, students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university and are over the age of majority in their country of residence. Students may enter as part of a team of two or as individuals. All others may enter the Open category.
Prizes include: - IBM ThinkPads - Trips to the European Joint Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software (ETAPS 2004), 27 March - 4 April 2004 in Barcelona, Spain - Genuitec MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench - Instantiations CodePro Express - Embarcadero Describe Enterprise
