Dear ALL,

At hte meet of March in TIFR, I had raised a issue of Redhat Training Documentation RH-033 had some wrong info about GNU/Linux,

It had mentioned that LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM was developed by Linus Torvald ( which defintely is not the case )

So I had discussed with Nagarjuna and Others in meet to raise the issue to redhat..

But now that I have checked their new documentation books of Training they have updated their entire contents for intro to LINUX,they have mentioned FSF ,GNU etc every thing look more OK

So I guess their is no issue to be raised ....

I was not in touch of the list for more than 15 days since monthend ... Was the meet for April conducted ??

I am new to this community. Considering this post you have made is putting up a question that whether LINUX was really developed by LINUS TORVARLDS.

Most of in this world, praise Linus for LINUX. Then, how is that, you say that Linux is not developed by LINUS TORVALDS.

As far I know, LINUS has not developed LINUX "ALONE". But he's the main man behind KERNEL of every linux Operating System. Secondly, there are few group of people who are called as "hackers" who helped linus in developing LINUX.

I dont intent to deny your facts but just want to clarify. You definitely have better knowledge.

I am sorry if in anyways this email is not written in the professional way.
