Wow! (oops, was that a wrong word on a GNU/Linux mailing list :-P)

Ok, we have a different venue this time. I *guess*, Dhawal (don't mind, /me is not appending Mr. ;) ) has initiated this.
Topics: Let's decide that here.
I would suggest 1. A small demo on Eclipse (for C / C++ / Java) 2. Best practises for Shell Scripting (I know who can opt to give a talk on this ;) ) 3. Any python programmers around ;)
Everyone's invited to attend and benefit form the talks.
I should make it. (eeks, University exams next month) so lets see. For now, I'll put it on the wiki if its accessible.

What about the website? The wiki's living but the website doesn't seem to be updated for over a year. The front page shows info about the February 2006 LUG meet.

The only section that is not touched is the summary of the Feb GLUG meet. The next event details are put on the top and they are updated some time before every meet (conf/etc). I'm sure, the details about March monthly GLUG meet will be put on the website too.

I am in for the meet. I will like to give a talk on python programming and particularly on using wx python for gui development. it will be a nice demo so that people not just become aware of python's strength but also the fact that gui development is very easy and looks good with python's extentions. regards. Krishnakant.

Great!
For those who give a talk at a GLUG meet; are they aware of what kind of audience is attending their talk? In what 'way' do they make sure that their message is conveyed and understood to their audience?
This is only to give an insight to the presenter on how his talk should progress in the session. For example from beginner -> advanced levels etc.
(Only a small suggestion)
