Am forwarding these mails to a couple of Gnu/Linux users groups in Goa and Bombay. With respect to ideas about the same we shall definitely like to put our minds together on this and offer assitance of any kind.
A good starting place would be the banglore-lug's BangLinux site which is a host for its yearly FLOSS events. Fredrick who is a journalist by profession and also a FLOSS supporter can help out with some strategies if and when time permits.
For a start expect my support on the strategising front. With respect to sponsorship we will work out the details later once you have something concrete on hand.
