I'm using the HP Laserjet P1007 since nearly a year and am quite
satisfied with its speed, print quality and support. Had some initial
hiccups with the Debian package, but that's all sorted out now (partly
because I kept bugging the maintainers until they fixed it :)
I bought the printer for ~Rs 5500.

I have had good experience with Samsung laser printers. Their entry
level laser printers start @ around 3.5K IIRC.

I'm using a Samsung ML - 2010 with Ubuntu . It did not need any
drivers. It worked otb.

I need to check if these models are available. Since we need this printer
for office, so it should be sort of Heavy Duty too.
