It would be nice if the gnukhata team could come up for this meet and demo gnukhata to the LUG. It will provide a good platform for everyone to have a look at it and discuss various aspects. Also, Sanjay B was volunteering for a session, if we do have time and his availability for the meet. He can confirm his session.

I would offer to take one session on LaTeX if that is some thing which interests. Currently I am in Malaysia and have non-continueous access to emails. So it is possible that replies might take about 12 hours to reach the list. Any ways I am back on Friday in Mumbai, so if any thing specifically needs to be discuss please contact me off the list after Friday. Any ways, when is the meet planned?
It is unofficial till I come back to Mumbai, but just to inform the list, we are planning a release for gnukhata on 21st of June. This also can be taken as an opportunity to hold a GLUG meet. I will confirm the date once I land in Mumbai. But it is 99% confirmed that this will indeed happen on 21 June. happy hacking. Krishnakant.

Hey - this was a casual chat with Mehul, but I'm happy to do a short presentation on Firefox 3.5, HTML 5, and more specifically on the <video> and <audio> tags which allows for Ogg embedding within web-pages in a standards compliant way and is something we're very excited about.
If there's interest, I can demonstrate our video website, pad.ma, which has been using <video> / Ogg Theora for over a year now, and some really cool stuff that Firefox 3.5 / <video> tag enables.
Not sure if there's time -- and especially since the Firefox 3.5 release looks like at least a couple of weeks away, if not more (audio is broken again in latest beta :( ), I'm happy to do this next time (*might* also manage to convince Mozilla to send down some merchandising to do a small release party .. they're currently very enthusiastic about pad.ma :) )
Anyway - let me know either way if there's interest / time for this month, else shall leave it for next time.

What is the agenda for the meet? I think gnukhata can be a topic, now since the date and place is confirmed, do let us know. Anusha will probably do the demonstration of GK along with me.

GNUKhata team, Should we go for this. I would say it is nice idea to go so that we get some bug feedbacks. For the bennifit of those "serious " users who have been ranting about GNUKhata on this list and not on our mailing list, we have a sprint for bug fixing and the features will be freezed on 10th June and we won't add any features after that.
