When ever i tried to install Redhat 8.0 , it always fails at XFree86-4.2.0.72 rpm :((
What may be the cause ?

Probably a bad CD! If you can't get a second CD, try installing without any of the X and related packages. Then you can download and install the X package manually ... will be a little tedious, unless there are tools in RHL that will allow you to automatically install dependency packages from the CD.

Corrupted media? Burn a new CD or try network install. Or dont install X at all and afterwards download/install left over stuff.
