ASCI (Agile Software Community of India) is organizing a conference on Agile methodologies in Mumabi. The details of the conference can be found at ASCI's website http://202.53.78.202/agile2005/agilemumbai/index.htm.
Last place I expected this to turn up. Thanks... I'm a bit of an XP fan. You're right in that XP is a way to practise your craft and independent of tools used. XP however is essentially people-centric so you need good people to hit the productivity roof

We used to have a lot of seminar/conference announcements on this list in the past. Then they all dried up.
Wouldn't it be a lot better if the conference were held on the 30th and 31st instead of 29th and 30th, the reason being that 29th is a friday. I would have loved to attend but cant take a leave just for this. I'm sure many others feel the same way.
Anand.

OTOH, many people would rather stay at home on a weekend and bunk work on a weekday to attend a conference. I know I would. :P

doesn't your office give you leave? or do you just not like to take any? I used to be like that. I wanted to save my leave for a good time. When I left my last job I had some 2 months leave pending.
