I will, unless unforseen things come up, attend that meeting. If someone wants to get his PGP key signed, please bring a passport or similar id and a slip of paper with your key fingerprint. I’ll do the same.
Greetings, Joachim

Dear Siji, Long time no see.
Hope you remember me
And our highly respected Prof. R. K. Joshi - the one man, despite being Indan who led the crusade of INDIC glyphs in Unicode forever with about 30 years of toil till his last breath.
I am sure any linux enthusiast in any list is ignorant and/or ungrateful enough to remember him.
Not to mention Dr. Alka Irani on her Bharateeya (or in ITRANS bharatiiya) project.
I feel very privileged to be on the same list as you are in indeed.
Very happy that you are in charge.
I will try as I am in night shift and I have to leave home by about 1700 on that day.
All the best
With only guaranteed warm regards,
Rajagopal

Just make sure that you hit right button and don't assume too much about people of this list.

I apologise, I did err.
That should have read:
" I am sure not many linux enthusiasts in any list is ignorant and/or ungrateful enough to remember him."
Apologies once again for hurting the member's sentiments with my earlier rant.
<rant> It's just that I had worked with him and my momories of visting with a team under his Leadership just before his death on Jan 25-36 2008 to Kelshi, a village in Ratnagiri to record the vedic recitations to include as evidence to add another page in Unicode . I was there due to the fact that I know to recite and recognise variants of veda recitation audibly and a thing or two about Technology.
It is surprising that even today, in the post colonial perriode, native Indian contribution to the World civilization in the form or open source / FLOSS gets ignored methodically, including a few state governments have started going open source wholesale openly: Kerala, Maharshtra, TN etc. of the most Powerful and populous democracy. </rant>
Regads,
Rajagopal

Pointless rant. Anyway, I had met him regarding designing a plastic housing and he recommended one of his students (1994-95) who did an outstanding job.
