Hi I am basically trying to switch over from windows 2k to linux. I am trying to set up a router on a 333 Mhz box with 2 lancards with static IPs on both of them. I have set up the IPs on both the cards. Now my current situation is that from the computer behind the router I can ping the local network card as well as the external card but it does not ping and computre on the external network. I am running Red hat 7.2 and I dont hav a gui interface. Thanks Brendon

Your mail is not quite clear.
Which us the "computer on the external network" you are trying to ping?
