Could you try this -- unplug your router and plug it back in. Once the USB LED on your router starts glowing, execute this command:
dmesg | tail -n 20
and post it's output.
Alternatively, add 2-3 Network Monitor applets in your main panel. Configure one with connection name as eth0, the second as eth1 and the third as eth2. Unplug and plug in your router and see which one of the applet icons change when you do so.
