So n e body suggest me step by step configuration for accessing Telnet / FTP to Linux machine from my Windows PC.? I m having mail account with VSNL. And I wants to access my mails of VSNL POP3 account in to the Linux Mail client like Mutt. So, how do I access it in Mutt/Pine etc..? Apart from there n e body have the Idea to configure multiple POP3 as well as multiple SMTP servers like wat my friends were doing in MS-Outlook Express. Is there any mail client which allows the facility like MS-OE.? My friend is installed RH Linux 7.2 just last week. He is having ISDN connection for Internet as an alternative to his Cable Internet. So, how can he b able to configure his ISDN Connection on Linux system.? Plz. Suggest step by step configuration. Is thr n e body who can burn the CDs of FreeBSD for me? I m also ready to pay the cost of the CDs. So, plz. Contact me Off the List for that matter. Lots of thanx to all Lugger Friends. Happy Linuxing. Regards, [Ashish Desai]

Firstly, check if the RPM telnet-server is installed. In the file /etc/xinetd.d/telnet change the line disable=yes to disable=no and restart xinetd.
Use ssh instead of telnet. Check out these links: http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=4412 http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=4413

Yes check out Mozilla 1.0. It is as fast as IE 6 and has a very good mail client. Download mozilla from one of the mirrors. Alternatively netscape 6.2 also provides the functionality that u are asking for.

Use wvdial for this. man wvdial .
Keep reading the docs - HOWTOs, man pages etc. This will help. Don't expect step by step configuration please.

For Outlook like features checkout Ximian Evolution
