If you're using a good email client, it will provide you with links to unsubscribing. If you're not using a good email client, then you'll have to view the full headers of this mail, and look for a header that says List-Unsubscribe:
Hey luggers,
i want to automate dialup on a mailserver where in after inactivity of a specified duration it should disconnect. Then reconnect after a prescribed duration...
I tried using wvdial.....but it ain't seemin to run /etc/ppp/ip-up.local. Also asking it to sleep for sometime and then redial ain't part of the package.......

Yes, check out diald. It's not painless to configure but once done can give you exactly what you need (and more!).

i tried diald too..it sucks man....:(
I then came back to writin ppp chat scripts with demand dial nd had the server runnin in a few hours. Man....but the trial nd error usin hat scripts for different succcks.
Cause there ain't a way for the admin where i hav installed the box to switch seamlessly between isps's without havin to come back to me for a new chat script......as non of the friggin indian isps's has a standard method of authentication.

I had configured it with wvdial so it was using wvdial for dialing out. The howto is just about enough. Don't know why you think it sucks.

Dont use wvdial. I managed demand dialing without using diald, and just enabling demand in the system wide ppp options. In the debian system there is an excellent pppconfig package that does takes full advantage of the recent ppp package. My article in the networking special explains it.

it's the same page. if you approach the problem from the right angle, you'll see that subscription and unsubscription are just different forms of the same thing.
Hi, In plain english that would mean, use the edit options button in http://mm.ilug-bom.org.in/mailman/listinfo/linuxers
