it. That all, Linux does as good as windows, if not better.
Your point taken. I setup the Linux machine for my mom, and taught her how to use StarOffice, Kmail, and Netscape Navigator. That was all she wanted, and she is very happy the way KDE serves her. I don't even expect her to know any of the commands, or what is `root' ;-) She has her own user, and does all her work on the RHL 7.2 machine. No hassels till now.
Yes, the only hitch here is, someone needs to setup the box first, before moms and dads start using them. But that is a very fair price to pay, considering the other option. ;-)
