I'd been trying to arrange for an alternate venue this time, at Press Club instead of HBCSE. I was unable to coordinate with Mr. Shiv as he went to aurangabad on an assignment. So, as of today its undecided if we are going to have lug meet (this weekend is surely no possible).
I'll let the list know if there is any progress in this regard. Btw, would it be okay to have meet at HBCSE instead of an alternate venue?
It is ok if it is at HBCSE. I say this because I live in Ghatkopar.
I'm interested to meet LUG members. The last I had attended was in February. :(

Hehe, you think that was far back? The last I attended was back in 2002 :P
LUG meetings happen more often than not in central Mumbai, which is quite far for me. The meet I attended happened at Ruparel with Phillip's CVS primer and Dr. Nagarjuna's emacs primer.
Are colleges (Ruparel, Bhavans, etc.) not open to LUG meets anymore? Or is it just that most members are from the central side?

They happen in the Eastern subrubs, rather than central Mumbai. I am a bit too far off to attend a meet sadly.
