Hi,
Can anyone please suggest what options do I have for hosting in India. I have checked Indiatimes and Znetindia with their Linux offerings. Am looking for around 30+GB of data and 20+GB of monthly transfer. I also tried talking to Reliance but they are still waiting for their "right" person to come around.
Thanks Krushna.

In case you are looking for getting a server with full root access and decent data limits (~100GB) then i'd suggest UnixShell's [1] XEN based hosting. Though the servers arent based in india but the technology cutting edge.

Indian servers will turn out to be pretty costly and quite unreliable. Try hostgator, godaddy bluehost ;)

try serverpronto.com. They have decent packages at US$ 40 per month onwards and very good servers at US$ 150 per month (when I checked last). All AMD machines, FC4 and some other options. They set it up, start ssh and give you the control to do what you want. I took for a client, US$ 70 per month, including 800GB bandwidth per month and additional bandwidth at 80 cents. 80GB HDD.

look at: routhost.com also
A few clients (myself included) are hosted here. No Complaints till date.
