As Sameer mentioned the drivers work only on RHL 7.1 with default kernel (v2.4.3) shipped with it. Mandrake 8.2 runs v2.4.18 so the drivers probably won't work. www.linmodems.org lists this modem as unsupported for now. See link http://www.idir.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html
