Does anyone know a grep like utility for pdf files?
I know that one can search using CTRL-F in evince but I want to search on command line for
further processing.

Thanks!
I thought it would be available with default pdf tools and had tried the command but it
was not found. Installed it explicitly after your email and it worked like a charm!
