It would have been nice if they had mentioned Linux but is there any obligation to mention it? Sharp is good about it; for Zaurus they mention it.

Many other device manufacturers are using embedded Linux (DLink, Linksys, Maxtor NAS devices come to mind) and they don't mention Linux either. HP uses embedded *BSD in some of their storage devices and they don't mention it either.
