How to burn dot-raw files.

Hi, Someone on the list had a problem with javac. I remember a similar problem when using Sun's JDK for linux with Redhat Linux 7.0 beta version. I needed to install a few patches because the glibc was broken (??) Anyway just my 2p. Regards Shahed.

cs4232 sound

for cs4232, i use alsa and it works also u must add the following lines to /etc/conf.modules or /etc/modules.conf (preferably this one accd to the doc i read ) ADD THE FOLLOWING LINES : # ALSA portion alias char-major-116 snd alias char-major-14 soundcore alias snd-card-0 snd-card-cs461x alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I am using Hathway at Nariman Point, I don't know about Santacruz. Irrespective of the service provider, they should give the connection(with or without the cable modem) either onto ethernet card or onto serial port. I connect onto the ethernet card. Ask your provider to give the conection onto your Enet card. If they give you a static ip, set your Enet card with this ip. HTH. Cable modem, works on GNU/Linux?

I've got news that Internet access via cable modem is arriving in my locality. I am wondering whether there's support for it on GNU/Linux. Are there drivers available for the hardware (what kind of hardware?). Should I pray for its quick arrival? :) I remember there was a related discussion on the list sometime back. I guess I have configured sendmail. Please bear the horde of messages that may have come. I think I sent the queued messages by mistakre. I would like to know how to diable the DNS lookup option. Thanks in advance. -- A professor is one who talks in someone else's sleep.

Hi There, I am new to java. I compiled " hello world " in java by giving - javac helloworld.java it gives me a " segmentation fault (core dumped)" What is happening??
