It seems that the .raw files are plain iso image files. And that we are
supposed to directly burn them. Now how does one do it i) under Linux ii)
under Win98?

hi luggers,
can any of you please tell me which rpm in RHL 7.1
installs the file : libz.so.1
Phillips, if you remember, I had some mouse problem
some time back. It dissapeared once i got a new mouse.
I tried to investigate but couldn't find why the old
mouse had become eccentric.
Don't forget about libz.so.1

Hello Automation fans,
The link on browser SCADA did not work on Netscape 4.77 and requires
IE5.5 or Netscape 6.
There was some problem with IE as nested ID's were probably not
supported. This has been Corrected using a different logic, which has
also speded up operations.
However older browsers may not be suporting 'getElementById' command.

Hello Satya,
I have 2.8.4(dev16) version of Lynx.
The Browser does not support Frames in the conventional way as supported
by netscape 4.77 or IE5.5 or Mozilla 0.7 and higher versions of these
browsers. Since the tutorials use a lot of images, using a Frame reduces
Programming time. Secondly on downloads of a page, only a part of the
actual page is downloaded from the internet, thereby saving on bandwidth.
On trying with the above version of Lynx which is text based, I found
that I could navigate further by selecting bottom frame but was stuck
ahead as the
<a href="#" onClick="top.location='karnalawebsite/index.html'">
command was not supported.
The display of the message indicates that the browser does not support
frames in the conventional way. try using Netscape 4.77 which is given
free with most Distro's But Mozilla 0.7 or Netscape 6 are recommended as
they give the best results.
Please note that after the discussion at the Online meet in August, I
saved a lot of images in PNG format, and neither Netscape 4.77, nor
IE5.5 provide proper support for PNG format. In IE5.5 and Netscape 4.77,
the transparencies on the images appear as grey or white patches.
This is a totally graphic intensive site which requires a browser
capable of displaying graphics. Javascript has also been liberally used,
so support for that is also required.
Counter is required to find out number of hits.
Thanks for viewing the site and replying.

Gimp tutorials
first set of ten tutes for absolute beginers called JR. KG GIMP
And the first three of the next set for creating web themes and tools
using GIMP are now
available on the site www.smbd.org <http://www.smbd.org> under GIMP
section.
More tutes, planning to at least put two per week starting from tomorrow.
Best viewed with netscape 6.1, had some problems related to PNG support
on IE5.5 and Netscape 4.77.
Any Errata-corrections are most welcome.
