internal modem help

hi all i am using a internal modem with motorola sm56 fax modem chipset... i use rh7.2 and kudzu is not detecting my modem. how do i configure my modem with linux?? plz help gurpreet ------------------------------------------------------- WISHING U ALL A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS DIWALI... -------------------------------------------------------

First download wine from winehq.org and rpm -i it. Are planning to run windows apps from a windows partition or from linux itself? In the first case, mount the windows partition, cd to the directory where the exe is located and do wine appname.exe. hey luggers, i have successfully installed rh8.0, it looks quite clean to me. now what i am trying to do is to run some windows programs on linux using wine. but i exactly do not know how to go about it. winehq.com doesnt paricularly help on this. can anyone of ya suggest me some ideas of how to run win apps using wine??? thanks in advance, Abhishek Gupta. I feel that the message lines should be wrapped after 65-70 lines. It would be better if the members of the mailing list follow it rather than enforcing it using some code.
