The sign up page is up (http://www.thefreespeech.org/collaborate/). Its
working all right, but I am not exactly happy with it.
1. The short id is mandatory, and has to be exactly 6 chars. I have not
made any provisions to check for it. Need to do it asap.
2. the php code is not really neatly written.
3. I dunno if there are any bugs in this (security or otherwise).
Could someone please go through the code and just help me with
modifications. I must admit that this is the first time I played with
php + mysql. However, till then, you could sign up guys..it does the job
all right!

hi there,
i want to change the color of mouse cursor in X (which genrally black)
do any body have a clue or done it before then plz help me out in the

Graphics Programming on GNU/Linux for the "Turbo C" fellows.
The new version includes an installation script and does the following
1. Converts the GNU/Linux installed machine to a Terminal Server.
Installation and configuration of LTS is done by the script.
If the terminal video cards are autodetected by XFree86-4 , they just
boot from the ether-boot floppy created.
(tested on redhat 7.1 & 7.3 )
2. Installs and configures IceWM ( a fast , flexible window manager
ideal for terminal servers) and puts a menu tailored for school use.
3. Installs other RPM & TGZ packages from CD

Hi Guys,
Our linux RedHat 6.2 Email Server runs sendmail with qpopper and
Drac perfectly. The system also run RAV Antivirus good enough to
clean all virus at server level.
After setting up DRAC we could minimise the spammers to a larger
extend.
Now the issue is users do receive lots of junk mails with
promotional offers/ads etc which we would like to block at server
level itself. Setting filters in procmail has really not

Dear all,
The signup page for the PRC & the forum is almost ready.
Basically, people will be able to sign up for a login, either as a mentor
or a student, which will be entered into respective phprojekt database
tables. They may then use the userid to login to the groupware, or use the
forum (no more guest logins!!).
Hopefully, it'll be up by tomorrow.

IMHO, this is not possible if you are using Qmail-LDAP. I wld say that the
above procedure is the best method. IF you still wnat to do it this way,
this could be the architecture.
Apart from the central server, none of the machines run LDAP, but all of
them have the QMQP service running. Run two Qmail services at all
locations - the second only with QMQP. The only file in the second Qmail's
control file would be smtproutes, which would have the entry of your
central server. The main Qmail's .qmail-default file would contain
something like: | /var/qmail2/bin/forward "$EXT(a)yourdomain.com"
So all mails for "anyone(a)yourdomain.com" not found locally would be
delivered to the central mail server through QMQP. Here using the mailHost
attribute, Qmail would deliver the mails to the appropriate location.

Not at all - the most common scenario in corporates, but thanks to
Qmail-LDAP, the solution is just about perfect, and simple - Just 1 catch
though, it helps if all your locations are connected permanently.

Hi all,
When I halt the system, I get the following error message.
General Protection fault : f000
CPU : 0 ; EIP : 0050[<00008881>]

& lot more combination of 0s & 1. with last line,
/etc/rc0.d/s01halt : line1 : 2192 Segmentation fault halt -i -d -p
Why is this coming ? How to remove it?
