Hello Bhaskar...;) good-day. It'll be my pleasure to be present there and conduct a days workshop on FSF-OS covering carious aspects of Development / Careers / Consultancy / Economics with a fair glance at gnu-linux. I also extend this invitation to the gnu-linux users group of bombay....such that we can arrange for 1-2 day workshop covering various technical and non-technical aspects of FSF-OS and gnu-linux. I am hoping that you can extend this invitation to all the colleges Technical/Non-technical all around Kolhapur so as to increase the sharing of knowledge to benefit the community. Lemme know your ideas on the same and along with the ilug-bom we will do our best to come over there and deliver our best. How to keep two version of linux on one machine,

Hi Group, I am planning to use some applications which works only on top of red hat linux 6.2. Is it possible for me to keep red hat linux 8.0 and 6.2 on the same machine? I am interested in keeping glibc-2.1.3 on my machine which comes with red hat linux 6.2. So this implementation should consider that point. Any help is welcome. Thanx and regards, Prashant Parab

Hotmail in Linux ?

Hi Guys, I would like to know if any of you are able to synchronize your hotmail account from Red Hat Linux 8.0. Which program should I use to do that ? Hotmail uses http protocol. KMail doesn't support it. I know about 'gotmail'; but I can view messages only in a plain text file. Please help !! Regards, Amar Shah.

Greetings, Dr. D. B. Phatak wants to create an offline internet. It will be a collection of sites which are of importance. This is for the schools and colleges that do not have internet access. The sites will be included on a CD, and can be installed on the HDD of the servers. Dr. D. B. Phatak wants many people to work on this, and we probably have the people to help for this cause. Not finding the CommandSet to work with the Modem

Hi , I have D-Link DFM-560ES Data/Fax/Voice Modem..and I'm searching the Net for the set of commands to work with the Modem as like write a command on the Modem's port so to make a Voice call to a PSTN Phone...but I have not found any result..Can anybody help in knowing the same.... Hi, Can anyone tell me where to get an rpm or a tarball for libcms.so.1 ? It's required by k3b, the cd creator for KDE. You can find the project at sourceforge. I am using RHL 8.0 Psyche release with kernel ver. 2.4.18-14.. anyone having a link to the application providing libcms.so.1 library ?.. Regards, Amar Shah.
