PHP scripting help

Hi all, I am writing a PHP script to send custom emails. I have MySQL table with fields like FName, LName, Add, City etc. I plan to use the @@filed_name@@ typo for positioning for unique text for which I need to map the @@filed_name@@ with the appropriate MySQL table cols. How can I identify @@Some_field@@ from the message string and run a str replace or preg_replace. Can someone help me with this. Eg. ----------------- Dear @@FName@@ @@LName@@, @@Add@@, @@City@@. And Micro$oft innovates great technology with ease of use. Also windose is totally secure except for those evil "hackers". And no denying windose is cheapo. And Linux is a copy of SCOs unix and freesoftware is devastating the economy and causing global warming and Fedora just stopped midway in installation on Kevin's machine causing untold pain and misery... We can get M$ to sponsor ILUG-BOM.... And never mention that M$ patch distribution uses Akami which uses GNU/Linux for dishing out the s!@#. rgds jtd

fedora core cd not working

hi, i recently purchase red hat fedora core bible. i got fedora cd with it. however when i tried to install fedora it started the installation, formatted my drive and started copying the packages. however it terminated half way stating some fatal error about bad media and stopped the installation. i thought the cd was bad and replaced the book and cd. however i got the same problem with the other cd. can anyone tell what the problem is? regards, kevin

SNMP for cpu utilisation and diskio monitoring

Hello: I'm trying to monitor cpu utilisation, system temperature and Disk I/O using SNMP on linux-2.4.20 . It'd be really great if anybody could give me some tutorial urls/book names in this regard. After doing this any file created in the folder will have the group ownership of the desired group so that all the group members can have proper access to the folder once they login with their respective usernames and passwd's.
