No the problem doesnt seem to be with the apps works on conslole all the services are working properly jst that Mozilla is not opening it starts the process but then jst goes conkey .. works fine in windows partition .dont use X windows doesnt work in gui ( tty7) too.. Hi All , I am using fc-1(redhat-10) in my home pc . When i was selecting all the packages while installation i selected every thing now none of the packages seem to be working .. Wat can be the case can insufficent hard-disk be the problem?? .. Same is the case with mozilla i also have xp partition in my hard-disk mozilla works fine there Why it Jst doesnt work in linux .. Script for query of version of all programs installed

How do we do a query for collecting the exact version of a particular rpm or package installed. I sometimes run into trouble trying to load an rpm which may be older than the one I have. I want to write a script which will get the version number of the rpm installed so that we know if the current rpm is newer or not. RC

We had tried a while ago getting developer access to galileo but with no success. but maybe things have changed since then. have already initiated the process of extracting technical support again. Galileo Mumbai is not very forthcoming, Linux seems to be the L word to them. And yes, Sabre and Amedeus have already moved to the Web platform. Dear all, I am trying to open www.gmail.com using mozilla on my suse OS. However the browser fails to do the same. With windows on internet explorer I can open the same. Firefox users deprived of certain sites.

Happened to come across a couple of sites recently which would not be very friendly to Firefox. a)The sites being the Air Sahara/Indiatimes auctions site. b) www.visa-services.com c) Indiapost.org (The pincode locator feature dies on detecting non IE) Now, without taking the effort to get to a windows machine, are my chances of viewing those sites next to nil? Side Question: Has anyone run the Galileo software (travel bookings) on linux? Details about the sites not opened in Firefox. The Indiatimes auctions site gives this message at some point after going through 2 steps. "Error ! The current browser is either too old or too modern (usind DOM document structure)." The www.visa-services.com site gives the message "this site is best viewed with IE so n so and above and 800x600 res. And nothing can be done. cant click ahead. The Indiapost.org site (http://www.indiapost.org/Netscape/pinsearch1.asp) returns Page not found error message from IIS and the url in the address bar changes to "http://www.indiapost.org/Netscape/pinsearch2.asp" So looks like they have a specific error message for netscape based browsers. So if I were to succeed in making my office windows free eventually, how would I be able to access the sites above and many such? views comments feedback, appreciated as always.
