Hi Folks,
Thanks a lot for answering my query with enthusiasm.
I am looking forward to try Gnu Khata.
Also for Kenneth's message:

dont - it is not maintained. Although I would be thrilled if you came forward
to maintain it ;-)

I would like to maintain it, if its matter of maintaining the website.
Similar to GNU Khata are there any more software developed by the members of
this mailing list.
Would love to know about them, so that I can build a repository to share
them through my site www.dhayfule.com
Bye

Hi Folks,
Thanks a lot for the inputs. These discussions really helped me a lot. I am
now looking forward towards GNU Khata.
However I also came across http://avsap.sourceforge.net/ through Google.
I will try both of them.
Bye

Ask him to go in for a C2D Machine with 6-8 Gigs of RAM with a P8600 or
better processor and an Intel GMA4500 chipset or better. This is a very
power efficient and cool ( as in temperature ) platform. If he wants a
more mature platform ask him to go in for a C2D with GMA X3100 chipset
with 4 Gigs of RAM. This runs a bit hotter ( not so much though ) and is
power efficient as well. With this chipset he should get a T8300
processor. It packs a punch.
Since he needs something portable and light ( and sturdy ) he should try
lenovo ( Though my personal experience has been bad I'm still
recommending it purely because I feel it was a one off incident ). If
not, Dell would give him the best returns on his investment. If money is
not a worry, he should go in for a Mac Book Pro.
Don't go for mac unless he is sure the specialised maths software he wants to use is going to run on mac os

If he wants dell, let him go to dell.co.in
otherwise there are many guys in lamington road who can give what you want. I took from solution 360. They will get you models u want.
Compareindia.com is also a good place. It gives u ability to shortlist based on parameters and then compare features n price.
However don't necessarily look for pc with higher ram. U can take less ram and upgrade to 4 gb on ur own. Buy ram from any external source. That way u will have better choice of models

Hey Mehul,
I'm considering getting a new laptop- small and light with a 2 to
2.5GHz processor, 3GB RAM and 250GB HDD. I might be doing some intense
numerical work on it- MATLAB/SCILAB and such.
I went over to a Croma outlet today to have a look at a few laptops,
but every single one had Vista preinstalled. No option to get one with
Linux or without an OS. Even Acer, which I had bought earlier with
Linux preinstalled, doesn't allow you to buy one without Vista any
more. At Croma at the very least.
Is there any place that you, or your friends know of where I can look
into for options on buying something along the lines of the config
I've mentioned? Any store-names (in Mumbai)/websites would be helpful.
I've Googled around a bit but I'm mostly just getting US specific
results for Dell.
Thanks
Aditya

Hi,
We are using sendmail on our centos 5.2 server.
We have a registered panel of more than 2,00,000 users. I need to send one
email to all of them.
I have written a PHP script to send email one by one.
Do I need to take any special care? I have sorted all email ids by domain.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Richard Correia
